ACCED-I members are invited to attend the Caterer and Vendor Showcase at UC Davis scheduled to take place on 10/31 from 11:30AM - 1:30PM. It is a great opportunity to network with fellow planners and to meet vendors such as CVBs, rental companies, hotels, and more.

Region 1 Drive-In at UC Davis
The first drive-in of the year for Region 1 took place on June 23rd on the campus of the University of California, Davis. Despite the 109 degree temps, over 76 planners braved the heat wave and joined us for the meeting attending from the host campus as well as other institutions such as San Jose State, Sacramento State, Stanislaus State, Sonoma State and Stanford. The agenda included talks on the newest in green meeting planning, food and beverage trends, tips on working with hotels and healthy meeting planning trends. In keeping with the healthy meeting goals of the planning committee, participants were led through guided stretching and mindfulness exercises and treated to a infused water and trail mix bar for their afternoon break. Based on casual comments from participants as well as official survey results, the day was a great success. It was toasty outside but we had a great day of learning inside.
Registration now open!
